At Varni Jewels, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains the conditions for cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds for products purchased through varnijewels.com.

1. Return Period

Eligible products may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the product must be:

  • Unworn, unused and undamaged

  • In its original condition

  • Returned with original packaging, tags and accessories

  • Accompanied by the invoice and applicable diamond or gemstone certificate

  • Free from alterations, scratches, resizing or other modifications

Products that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to a reasonable deduction for diminished value where permitted by law.

2. Non-Returnable Products

Unless defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the following products cannot ordinarily be returned:

  • Custom-designed or made-to-order jewellery

  • Engraved or personalised products

  • Products resized or altered at the customer’s request

  • Final-sale or clearance products identified as non-returnable

  • Gift cards

  • Products damaged through misuse or improper care

  • Products missing their original certificate, security tag or essential components

  • Pierced earrings removed from their sealed packaging, for hygiene reasons

These restrictions do not affect any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

3. Starting a Return

Before sending a product back, contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Product being returned

  • Reason for the return

  • Photographs, if the product is damaged or incorrect

If approved, we will provide return instructions and the applicable return address. Returns sent without prior authorisation may be delayed or refused.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the product arrived damaged, defective or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

High-value jewellery should be securely packaged and returned through a trackable and fully insured shipping service. Varni Jewels is not responsible for a return lost or damaged before it reaches us.

If we supplied a damaged, defective or incorrect product, we will provide an appropriate return method or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

5. Inspection

Returned products are inspected after receipt. We may verify:

  • Product condition

  • Signs of wear, damage or alteration

  • Security tags

  • Original packaging

  • Certificates and accompanying materials

We will notify you after the return has been inspected and inform you whether the refund or exchange has been approved.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund. Original shipping, expedited delivery, insurance, customs duties and similar charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from our error or applicable law requires otherwise.

If a returned product is missing its original laboratory certificate, the documented cost of replacing the certificate may be deducted from the refund where permitted.

7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if:

  • The package appears damaged or tampered with

  • The jewellery is defective

  • An incorrect product was delivered

  • Any product or component is missing

Include photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label. Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved.

After verification, we may offer a replacement, repair, exchange or full refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

8. Exchanges

Eligible products may be exchanged during the 30-day return period, subject to availability.

If the replacement product costs more, you must pay the difference. If it costs less, the remaining eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Order Cancellations

Standard orders may be cancelled before they enter processing or are shipped.

Custom, engraved, resized or made-to-order products may only be cancelled before production begins. Once production or customisation starts, cancellation may not be possible.

To request cancellation, contact us immediately at [email protected]. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the order can be cancelled.

10. International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping, insurance, customs documentation and applicable charges unless the product was defective or incorrectly supplied.

Import duties, taxes, brokerage fees and customs charges paid to government authorities or third parties are generally non-refundable by Varni Jewels. Customers may contact their local customs authority regarding possible duty refunds.

11. Gifts

Refunds are normally issued to the original purchaser and original payment method.

Where available, a gift recipient may request an exchange or store credit instead of a refund.

12. Late or Missing Refunds

If an approved refund has not appeared:

  1. Check your bank or payment account again.

  2. Contact your card issuer or payment provider.

  3. Allow the provider’s standard processing period.
